The Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated each Sunday at Christ Lutheran Church in the 8:00a.m. service on the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays of the month and in the 9:30a.m. and 11:00a.m. (10:00a.m. during summer) services on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month. Communion is celebrated at the Saturday 5:00p.m. service on the 1st, 3rd and 5th weekends of the month.

We welcome those who come in faith in Christ to receive His gifts in the Eucharist. In Holy Communion, we believe that the body and blood of our Lord are really present in the consecrated bread and wine. As Christians, we believe the words of our Lord, “given and shed for you for the forgiveness of sins.” The Lord invites to His table those who are baptized and acknowledge Him as Lord and Savior. We recognize His presence in, with and under the bread and wine. We believe that through this gift we receive assurance of the forgiveness of sins and strength to live in accord with the teachings of Jesus. We welcome young people and others who are not confirmed to come to the altar for a blessing.
