Pastor Raymond Rohlfs grew up on the southside of Chicago and was baptized and nurtured in the faith at St. Peter’s and Hope Lutheran. He is a graduate of Luther High School South, Concordia University (Ann Arbor), and Concordia Seminary (St. Louis) in 1983, where he has completed post-graduate courses. Having served at parishes in Nebraska and Michigan, he became Senior Administrative Pastor at Christ in 2002.
Ray and his wife Jo Ann have four grown sons and one college-student daughter. They have been blessed with the addition of three daughters-in-law and two amazing grandchildren. When not ministering, Pastor Ray enjoys reading, working on cars, gardening, working out, and making pizza. He likes to remind himself that he serves Christ Evangelical (Gospel-centered) Lutheran Church.
