The Weekend of August 16 and 17, 2008

August 15 is the festival of St. Mary, Mother of Our Lord, so we are observing the day this weekend. As the mother of our Lord, Mary was the “handmaid of the Lord” and of the Gospel and glorified God in the process. Once more, the church is reminded of its mission and encouraged to hear the promises of God and give faithful expression to the Gospel. This weekend we also give thanks for the faithful servanthood of our retiring Office/Business Manager Gail Hefka.

WORSHIP UPDATE

SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE
begins Sunday, May 25, and runs through August 31. Saturday service at 5 p.m. and Sunday services at 8 and 10 a.m. (no Christian Ed Hour)
