During the 9:30 worship, we recognized our Cub and Boy Scouts. All scouts were asked to come forward to be acknowledged and for a special prayer. Also at the service, the Sterling boys – Connor, Collin, and Colton –
received their God and Country Awards. Peter Murphy, Religious Award Coordinator for Pack
3337, is with us today to share about the God and Country program.

C.H.O.I.C.E. Pie Baking 2009
Thank you to the many volunteers that made our Pie Baking Sale a success, especially Valparaiso University’s Sweetwine singing ministry team who stopped by to lend a helping hand and perform. A total of 240 delicious homemade apple, pumpkin and cherry pies were make by the C.H.O.I.C.E. bakers. The proceeds from the sale will be used to assist the financial needs of Christ Lutheran families.
